Lover's Leap, Jamaica

Almost every country has a location for star crossed lovers. Jamaica, too, has such a spot though this island's leap is especially breathtaking. Lover's Leap hosts the legend of two slaves who leapt to their deaths rather than face separation. Located on the south coast near Treasure Beach, Lover's Leap is a worthwhile stop. A great place to grab a snack and snap some great shots. There's good jerk to be had here as well!

Located east of Treasure Beach, Lovers Leap is a sheer 1600-foot cliff overhanging the sea. It was here that two slave lovers leaped to their deaths rather than be separated.
